okay, folks, here is the deal.
i am dyyyyyyyying to do this to my hair.

right now my hair is inches below my shoulders and i must say
that mr. wonderful is sort of against me going almost as short as him . . .
i sported an audrey-hepburn crop years ago
and have sort of been pushing towards waist length hair ever since.
but i'm a little tired of cleaning up gobs on hair off the
bathroom floor every day
{gross, right?},
and i love this too-cool take on a pixie.
so here is where you come in:
yes/no?
circle one, please.
{aka: leave a comment, pretty please!}

I vote 'no.' I ♥ your hair as it is...and after reading through the history, you've been so patient! So until you've reached your desired length, I'd hold out. you've come so far...you can do it! lol. Then, once you reach there...you can chop it. THat's my vote. Although my disclaimer is you'd look adorable no matter what you did, so you really can't go wrong! oh and PS boys (no matter what they say) always prefer long hair. Even if it's fake (at least for black people). lol. and PPS you could never look like a soccer mom, btw.
A drastic haircut is like a marriage.. sort of. You're diving in. Wanting it so much in the beginning. Then as time wears on, you either fall more in love, or you fall out of love. Think about the long term effects before you make a drastic (but uber cute) cut like that one. I did the same thing.. that exact same hair cut, my freshman year. I loved it for the first few months.. then after the maintenance taking its toll on my patience, I began to hate it. I would see girls with long hair and instantly hate myself for doing it to myself. If you even have a SLIGHT hankering for long hair, put it off a little longer.. If you're ready to wait out the grow-out, by all means sister, do it! Your bone structure will absolutely ROCK that hair cut.
FYI, I did say, however, that, although I prefer longer hair, if there is a girl who can pull off that haircut it would be you(Abby). So there...Im still mr. wonderful.
:)
Torn. I love that cut but I love long hair. Think on it for a few days. If it's still calling out to you then go for it. :)
